Ride to Raise Cheshire CIC's objectives are to predominately use motorcycles (but not exclusively) to provide emergency food and care packages to people in need and to link with other local organisations and to raise funds to facilitate the above. We also provide adventure experiences using motorcycles for members of our community, with a view to helping tackle loneliness, mental health and to increase happiness and wellbeing, to help forge new relationships with other members of our community. Members of Ride to Raise collect food and other items needed to create care packages and regularly delivers them to people on the streets, in care centres, homeless centres and at food banks and churches and was established in 2020. 

Ride to Raise then formed Ride to Raise Cheshire CIC in 2022, (which is a Community Interest Company) and set up several partnerships around the Cheshire area, and specifically in Winsford works with Morrisons Community Champion and has provided food parcels (not fresh food) and care package items to Christ Church and to the Mid Cheshire Food Bank.

August 2022, Ride to Raise Cheshire CIC reached its first crowd funding target on the Spacehive platform. 

https://www.spacehive.com/ridetoraisecheshire and with the support of Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council, Cllr Mandy Clare, Jackie Weaver, Ride to Raise CIC was able to purchase enough camping equipment for 28 people plus staff for adventure weekends. Our second Crowd Funding application (Project) is now up and running to help us purchase a second-hand van and trailer, to support the work we do. see link below to donate.

Growing out of our work to support those experiencing poverty and homelessness, we've seen how interested people are in our motorcycles and the way they start conversations as we visit different parts of Cheshire, Liverpool, Manchester and Stoke distributing food and care packages. 

Further to the above, we decided to facilitate motorcycle

Growing out of our work to support those experiencing poverty and homelessness, we've seen how interested people are in our motorcycles and the way they start conversations as we visit different parts of Cheshire, Liverpool, Manchester and Stoke distributing food and care packages. 

Further to the above, we decided to facilitate motorcycle social adventure experiences for those wishing to give it a try and people can come along on their own motorbike, use one of ours, be a pillion passenger or take a seat in one of our cars. 

Our adventure experiences shall help people to enjoy the outdoors with other likeminded individuals and help improve their own mental health and wellbeing by creating long term friendships with others taking part.

Ride to Raise Cheshire CIC shall provide care packages to those members of our community that need them. These products are non-perishable items with long use by dates. We shall also provide the same to local food banks and hostels. 

The benefits of the work Ride to Raise does, is twofold. There is the direct charitable aim of supporting those people experiencing poverty in various forms and as such food and care package related products are recycled to various groups and organisations for distribution. 

Our goal is to improve people’s well-being, mental health and to create an environment for those in our communities who are perhaps lonely, suffering with their mental health, or seeking to engage with others and experience something new. By helping others in our communities, Ride to Raise Cheshire  CIC can also strengthen our own sense of belonging and connection with others.

• Purchased Royal Enfield 411cc motorcycles and modified them for adventure rides 2021.
• Completed an adventure test event in the summer of 2021 in north Wales.

• Jan 2022 (New Years Day) Portsmouth 500 mile charity ride in aid of St Lukes Hospice Winsford, raised £2678.
• Took part in the Wirral Egg Run April 2022 and  handed out 12 Easter eggs
• Completed several feeds from motorcycles in Chester, Manchester and Liverpool, throughout 2022.

• Pitched our idea to Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council 2022.
• Received 6k of funding from Cheshire West & Chester Council.
• Fundraiser event at the Ye Old No3 Little Bollington 2022.
• Purchased Royal Enfield 650cc motorcycles.
• Set up a Community Interest Company Sept 2022.
• Received 5k of funding from Councillor Mandy Clare, Cheshire West and Chester Councillor for the Winsford Dene Ward.
• Reached our Spacehive crowd fund target in August 2022 £14,915.00p
• Designed and built a own web site, August 2022.
• Launched Ride to Raise Cheshire CIC officially, 27th August 2022, at The Old Star, Winsford, Cheshire.
• Fundraising Event Sportster Sickness, 3rd Sept 2022 and raised £700.
